Project Overview

Sis3aCARE successfully hosted a two-day Community Football Gala at Lolobi Ashiambi to promote unity, teamwork, and youth development among neighboring communities. The event featured teams from Lolobi Ashiambi, Lolobi Kumasi, and New Baika, engaging young people through sports while encouraging healthy lifestyles and positive social interaction. The program aimed to strengthen community bonds, discover local talent, and provide a recreational outlet for the youth. The Football Gala successfully brought together over three communities, reinforcing Sis3aCARE’s mission to empower and connect communities through impactful programs.

Lolobi Kumasi Wins Thrilling Gala Game Against New Baika

The highly anticipated gala game between Lolobi Ashiambi , Lolobi Kumasi and New Baika took place on Thursday 2nd January 2025 at Lolobi Ashiambi Football park, with Lolobi Kumasi emerging victorious with a 4 points and a goal win. The game was attended by over 1,000 fans, who were treated to an exciting display of skill and determination from both teams. The game got off to a strong start, with Lolobi Ashiambi scoring one goals in the first half. However, Lolobi Kumasi fought back in the second half, scoring two goals of their own to win the game. In the end, it was Lolobi Kumasi who emerged victorious, scoring the winning goal in the final minutes of the game. The 2-1 scores gave Kumasi 3 points with one goal leaving Ashiambi with 0 points and no goal. Ashiambi now faced New Baika where it all ended in a zero draw in full time. Baika then secured a one point and Ashiambi one point. Lolobi Kumasi and Baika now went for the finals where they played draw and secured Kumasi the lead on the table with 4 points and a goal leaving Baika with 2 points and no goal. "We are thrilled with the win," said Lolobi Kumasi's coach Iddah Savior. "Our players showed a lot of heart and determination, and we are proud of their performance." The gala game was a huge success, with many fans in attendance and a lively atmosphere throughout the day. The event also raised money for a local sellers.
